The Patagonia Journal is an online magazine full of articles and information about Argentina Fly fishing, Argentina Dove hunting, Pigeon hunting, and Stag hunting adventures.

 In the

The Spring 2012 Issue includes:

Argentina Fly fishing

Fly fishing the most beautiful river in Patagonia, the Rio Rivadavia - " I’ll draw a lot of heat for this one from guide friends in other parts of Patagonia; but it has to be said; The Rio Rivadavia has the best combination of stunning beauty and brown trout fishing of any river I have fished to date. The emerald color and clarity of the water defies an accurate description in modern language, and it flows through primordial, old growth forest in the mountainous terrain of Los Alerces National Park near the Chilean border. Each time I have floated this river, I’ve walked away with a sense of tranquility, and weary arms from battling big browns."

Argentina Dove Hunting

Argentina Needs Pigeon Shooters! - " Sometimes, things just have to been seen to be believed; and this was the craziest choreographed dance on motor scooters I had ever witnessed. It was like something you might expect at a carnival; only this routine was serious business, with huge financial consequences. I was watching over a cornfield in San Luis, Argentina so vast that it spread to the nearest horizon; and the motorized performers were “Palomeros”, best translated as: Pigeon Hunters."
